I am a wife, mother, grandmother of 13, and a Livermore resident for more than 30 years. I am running for LVJUSD School Board Trustee because parents deserve a strong voice in the decisions that affect their children and families.

As a retired teacher, I understand the importance of academic excellence, parent involvement, and a strong foundation for student success. Before teaching, I worked as an underwriter for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, gaining experience in responsibility, analysis, and sound decision-making.

I have served on the boards of the Livermore Pregnancy Resource Center and His Nesting Place in Long Beach. I have also regularly attended LVJUSD school board meetings for the past two years, where I have seen the need for greater parent participation and transparency.

As a trustee, I will advocate for parents, prioritize academic achievement, promote fiscal responsibility, support safe schools, and work with fellow board members to restore trust throughout our community.
