Debbie Gibson is a retired teacher, longtime Livermore resident, and parent advocate running for LVJUSD School Board Trustee. She will work to strengthen academics, protect parental involvement, and restore community trust.

Public education should prepare students for careers, continued learning, and productive lives. I will advocate for strong academics and ensure resources are focused on programs that improve student achievement.
Fiscal Responsibility
Responsible budgeting is essential for stable staffing, effective programs, and well-maintained facilities. I will support careful oversight of district finances and spending decisions that put students and classroom learning first.
School Safety
Every student deserves to learn and participate in school activities in a safe, fair, and respectful environment. I will advocate for policies that protect student privacy, preserve fairness in girls’ sports, and uphold the intent of Title IX.
